Emma & Matthew's wedding was originally supposed to be a Summer 2020 wedding full of sunshine & 100+ guests. Unfortunately due to Covid, their special day got pushed back to October 2020 with only 15 guests. But they did not let this affect their big day.
The flowers & cake had arrived, the ceremony being set up with the most beautiful arched windows & garden view. Emma was extremely excited but very relaxed for her big day, her Mother had hand stitched the bridesmaids purple face masks which looked beautiful with their matching dresses. Matthew arrived in an awesome yellow VW van which made for fantastic photos whilst Emma was making sure not to be seen in the bridal suite above.
The ceremony was full of tears from the vows, laughter as Matthew struggled with the ring & happiness once the couple said the I Do's.
Doing a socially distanced confetti walk was definitely interesting! But with the wide open gardens that Rockbeare Manor has to offer, it was a beautiful way to showcase the landscape.
Emma & Matthew loved having some quality time alone together whilst photographing their love for their couples portraits. Emma absolutely LOVED wearing her veil & Matthew enjoyed whispering sweet nothings into her ear to make her giggle!!
The evening was one of my favourites of all the weddings I have photographed. They decided to create a games room full of quizzes, board games, charades & nibbles. I even got to join in which was amazing, felt like part of the family!
Emma & Matthew’s wedding day was beautifully intimate, full of constant laughter with their family & most importantly, full of love. I even got a beautiful thank you card with their favourite photo on the front! Thank-you both for an amazing day photographing your beautiful devon wedding.
